Dr. Alexander Pilavsky

Dr. Alexander Pilavsky obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD). While completing his D.D.S., Dr. Pilavsky served in leadership roles in two NYUCD continuing education seminars, served as a teaching assistant for first-year dental students, and participated in NYUCD’s Dental Outreach Programs in Honduras and Nicaragua. He then completed his general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Pilavsky also served as an associate dentist at a private practice in Manhattan. He then joined the cosmetic dentist teams of two private practices serving Manhattan, where he continues to serve at present.

Dr. Alexander Pilavsky is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.   He is certified by the North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners, Inc., and is also a certified Invisalign® and laser dentistry provider (hard- and soft-tissue lasers).  He is licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York. He is listed in the Consumer Research Council of America’s Guide to America’s Top Dentists.

Community Involvement

Dr. Alexander Pilavsky has provided pro-bono dental care to those in need in Nicaragua and Honduras.  He is fluent in Russian and English and has some knowledge of French and Spanish. In his free time, Dr. Pilavsky enjoys relaxing, skiing, and going to the gym.

Dr. Mara Rosenberg Pilavsky

Dr. Mara Rosenberg Pilavsky obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry.  Dr. Mara served as the expert dentist on a panel of health professionals addressing the Business and Labor Coalition of New York (BALCONY), in which she presented a lecture on the importance of oral hygiene in overall health and of providing adequate dental care for the uninsured. Dr. Mara was inducted as a lifetime member into the Cambridge Who’s Who Registry of Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs. She is also listed in the Consumer Research Council of America’s Guide to America’s Top Dentists.

Dr. Mara is currently a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  She is certified in Invisalign®, hard- and soft-tissue lasers, and LUMINEERS® porcelain veneers. 

Community Involvement

Dr. Mara Rosenberg Pilavsky has donated her time and skill by visiting public schools in her community.  She has also provided dental care to an impoverished Nicaraguan community.  In her free time, Dr. Mara enjoys yoga, skiing, and cooking for her family.

Dr. Ronald Rosenberg

Dr. Ronald Rosenberg obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery and completed the Orthodontic Specialty Program at New York University College of Dentistry.  Since then, he has completed thousands of hours of continuing education.  After graduating, Dr. Rosenberg served as a dentist in the U.S. Air Force for two years and is a certified clinical hypnotist.  He also served as an instructor of orthodontics for general dentists in Brooklyn, New York.  Dr. Ronald has been listed in the Consumers' Research Council of America's Guide to America's Top Dentists

Dr. Ronald Rosenberg is a certified LUMINEERS® dentist. 

Community Involvement

In service to his community, Dr. Ronald Rosenberg has collaborated with the Public Health Department at NYU by running a dental education program for city public schools in the Lower East Side of NYC.

Dr. Jonathan Cook

Dr. Jonathan Cook obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cook was the only graduating senior awarded the Southern Academy of Prosthodontics Award, for demonstrating an outstanding ability in the area of Prosthodontics. In addition, he was also the only graduating senior awarded the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Award, for his accomplishments clinically and academically, in implant dentistry. Upon graduation, Dr. Cook was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Society, for demonstrating high scholarship and character.

While earning his D.M.D., Dr. Cook was selected to travel to Jamaica for two consecutive years, to provide dental care for the underserved and needy in various cities and towns. While in dental school, he also provided pro-bono dental care to children as a part of the Gives Kids A Smile program.

Community Involvement

Dr. Jonathan Cook has provided essential dental care to the underserved population of Jamaica. He has some knowledge of Spanish, and is currently studying Portuguese. In his free time he enjoys traveling to experience different cultures, working out, and spending time with friends.

Dr. Jack Brenner

Dr. Jack Brenner graduated from the Medical College at the University of Virginia and has been in private practice for over 40 years.
Throughout his long career, he has served as the dentist to many professional athletes, as well as, is the former dentist for the Miami Heat. Dr. Brenner was also the dentist for the sports programs of Florida International University and the University of Miami. He is an active member of the Florida Dental Association, the East Coast District Dental Society, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry. Dr. Brenner enjoys spending his free time with his children and grandchildren.

Dr. Nilo Hernandez

Dr. Nilo Hernandez received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He is also a graduate of the Universidad Central Del Este and the Misch International Implant Institute at Temple University and earned the Fellow, Diplomate and Mastership awards from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Also, a graduate alum of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Hernandez is the President of the Florida and US Dental Implant Groups and the International Dental Education Continuums, the past Chairman of the General Dentistry Department of the Dade County Dental Research Clinic and past Co-Director of the Robert Morgan Dental Implant Institute. He is an expert in the fields of Dental Implants, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Oral Surgery and offers sedation so his patients can “sleep” comfortably during dental procedures. He is a member of many dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American College of Oral Implantology and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Dr. Hernandez is an advisor to many dental companies and has headed an intensive dental research program on gingival tissue replacement and regeneration.

Community Involvement

Dr. Hernandez is extremely committed to Dental Education. Although he is a native of Miami, Florida, he has lectured extensively all over the world. Dr. Hernandez brings his expertise, gentle hands and caring chair-side manner to our practice. In his free time, Dr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with his wife and children. Also enjoys soccer, scuba diving and many other water related activities.
