Digital X-rays

Digital x-rays provide crisp x-ray images in seconds, without the chemicals or film and just a fraction of the radiation of traditional x-rays. Digital X-rays are a valuable tool in detecting abscesses, bone loss, sub-surface wisdom teeth, and other hidden problems of the teeth, bone, and facial structure.  IllustraDENT uses digital x-rays as a diagnostic tool in oral exams, periodontal treatment, dental implants placement, and numerous other treatments.  

Intraoral Camera

At IllustraDENT, we use the intraoral camera in numerous general, restorative, and cosmetic dental procedures.  This camera provides a complete view of the inside of the mouth.  It projects this image onto a computer screen for the dentist and patient to view.  The benefits are twofold:  the dentist can see the mouth and tooth structures without hindrance, and the patient gains a fuller understanding of his or her treatment.
